Cookie Policy

Updated 5 October 2026 · version ck1-fi-1

1. Who we are

Safety Courses LLC (safetycourses.fi). Contact: [email protected].

2. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you use a website. The browser's local storage (localStorage) is used for the same purpose. In this policy we call both "cookies".

3. Legal basis

We store or read information on your device only with your consent. The exception is information that is strictly necessary to provide the service you asked for (Finnish Act on Electronic Communications Services 917/2014, section 205). Essential cookies are always on. Analytics and marketing cookies start only after you accept them.

The essential cookies in the table were confirmed by a browser check on 5 October 2026. The exact names and lifetimes of the analytics and marketing cookies are set by each provider and are listed at the links.

5. Changing or withdrawing your choice

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time with the Cookie settings button in the bottom-left corner of the page. Withdrawing is as easy as giving consent. When you withdraw, analytics and marketing services stop, and the cookies they stored are deleted as far as your browser allows. We ask again after 12 months, or sooner if the cookies we use change.

6. Record of consent

For each choice we record the time, the banner version, the categories you chose and a random ID. We do not store your IP address, name or e-mail address.

7. Transfers outside the EU

Microsoft, Google and CHEQ may process data outside the EU/EEA, for example in the United States. These transfers rely on the providers' own transfer mechanisms, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

8. Supervisory authorities (Finland)

Compliance with the cookie rules is supervised by Traficom (National Cyber Security Centre). The processing of personal data is supervised by the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman. You can complain to either.
