These Terms apply to the safetycourses.fi website and the online courses sold through it. By purchasing a course or using the service you agree to these Terms.
Service provider
The service is operated and the courses are sold by Safety Courses LLC, 5203 Juan Tabo Blvd NE, Ste 2B, Albuquerque, NM 87111-2691, USA. Email: [email protected].
Courses and certificates
A certificate is issued once you pass the final test. Our courses support safety knowledge and help with workplace obligations, but they do not replace your employer's own induction or any required practical training. The courses do not grant a hygiene passport (hygieniapassi), EA1/EA2 first aid qualification, hot work card (tulityökortti), occupational safety card (työturvallisuuskortti) or STEK electrical safety card.
Orders, prices and payment
Prices are shown in euros on the course page and at checkout before you confirm your order. The price shown at checkout is the final price. Payment is taken when you place the order, and card payments are processed by our payment provider Stripe. You will receive an order confirmation by email.
Delivery
The course opens in your account as soon as payment is confirmed. If it does not open, contact [email protected].
Right of withdrawal and money-back guarantee
As a consumer you have the right to withdraw from an online purchase under Chapter 6 of the Finnish Consumer Protection Act (38/1978). In addition, we offer a 14-day money-back guarantee: if you are not happy with the course, email us within 14 days of purchase and we will refund you in full. See our refund policy (in Finnish).
Complaints and disputes
If a course is faulty or does not work, tell us at [email protected]. We will first try to resolve the matter with you. As a consumer you can get free advice from Consumer Advisory Services (kkv.fi) and refer a dispute to the Consumer Disputes Board (kuluttajariita.fi).
Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for the information you provide being accurate. Certificates are issued to the person registered on the account.
Acceptable use
Course content may not be copied, resold or distributed. Intellectual property in the content belongs to Safety Courses LLC.
Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, our liability is limited to the amount paid for the course. This does not limit any mandatory consumer rights.
Consumer rights and changes to these Terms
These Terms do not limit your mandatory rights under Finnish consumer protection law. We may update these Terms; your purchase is governed by the Terms in force at the time of purchase.
